Standard of Care: See Pelvic Floor Policy Procedure Manual & the new Guidelines

What do the Guidelines cover?

The Guidelines provide an orientation to therapists who are new to either Women's Health Physical Therapy and/or Pelvic Floor Rehab for women or for men.

In my experience many therapist have remarked that having a Standardized Guideline for Pelvic Floor Rehab would be helpful as they entered this field of practice. Most of us gain knowledge at Seminars and immediate application of those learned skills into a Clinical setting is not always intuitive or easy.

This is where these Guidelines will help the new as well as the established practitioner to apply their skills in a standardized way with a well established protocol. And for $50 you can't beat the cost of obtaining one. It ought to be considered as a Risk Management tool as well for the many private practitioners.
